Currency Strength
What is Currency Strength?
The above currency strength values attempt to measure the relative strength of currencies compared to the all other measured currencies.
How is it calculated?
Power is calucalated using a series of simple moving averages measure the price using timeframes ranging between 15 minutes and 4 hours. The simple moving averages are also split into two periods, one to measure faster changes and one to measure the more general trend. Each simple moving average contributes a different amount to the power calculation based on a perceived importance to the overall power calculation.
